Nelson Sproat

General Counsel

Nelson Sproat is the General Counsel for Silverview.  Most recently, Nelson was an Associate at Blank Rome where he represented banks, commercial finance companies, and institutional lenders, lender groups, in chapter 11 reorganizations, chapter 7 liquidations, and out-of-court restructurings. Nelson also represented banks and other institutional lenders in syndicated recurring revenue-based lending and asset-based lending transactions.  Prior to joining Blank Rome, Nelson served as a law clerk to the Honorable Barbara J. Houser and Michelle V. Larson of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.  Nelson holds a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and a J.D. from Boston College Law School where he was on the executive board of the U.C.C. Reporter Digest.  Prior to law school, Nelson worked in investment operations for SEI and Haverford Trust Company.
